STOURBRIDGE CANAL

 

 

A short and mainly urban waterway providing a link from the BCN to the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, the Stourbridge Canal is nevertheless of interest for several features. The Sixteen Locks flight passes the Redhouse Cone, a glassworks museum commemorating an important local industry and based on a former kiln building, and the Stourbridge Town Arm leads to the Bonded Warehouse, restored as the headquarters of the Stourbridge Navigation Trust.6 miles 20 locksMaximum dimensions: length 72ft, beam 7ft
