We are sorry to have to bring you the sad news that Steve Hudson of SM Hudson Boatbuilders of Glascote died suddenly and unexpectedly in hospital on 2 December, after a short illness.
His high-quality and well-respected boats had a distinctive shape and style all of their own, and his passing is a sad loss to boatbuilding.
The Canal Boat team offer our condolences to his family, his staff, his friends, and everyone else who knew him.
