Do you love the Mon & Brec?
Well, don’t miss this fun chance to help the Monmouthshire, Brecon & Abergavenny Canals Trust raise the funds to complete the restoration of the canal to Newport by sponsoring a duck in its Duck Race on Monday 26 August at 2pm at Llangynidr Locks. Tickets cost £1 each and are available in advance from Fourteen Locks Canal Centre, the Canals Trust shop in Newport, the Coach and Horses in Llangynidr and from local hire boat companies. They will also be available the Llangynidr Show all day on Sunday 25th August. There are some great prizes, including a top prize of a canal holiday.
