Park Home Assist Insurance Services (part of Assist Insurance Services Ltd) has won an award at the 2024 British Insurance Awards.

On the 3 July, the company was announced as winner of the 2024 Customer Experience Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the insurance industry.

A few months ago, Park Home Assist was shortlisted for three British Insurance Awards – a huge achievement in its own right. The team was absolutely delighted to have been recognised by the insurance industry once again with this award.

The Park Home Assist team headed to London for the ceremony, which is held at the Royal Albert Hall.

There were many submissions for the 2024 Customer Experience Award and Park Home Assist was up against some much larger organisations, so to actually win is an outstanding achievement.

The Customer Experience Award is open to any UK-based insurer and the judges were looking for those who had clearly demonstrated an excellent level of engagement at every point of the customer journey, from marketing to sales to customer service.

Proof was required on how this impacted the customer experience and how policyholders and prospective policyholders feel towards the brand. All entrants had to demonstrate how they have used online and offline processes to make sure the customer experience is as smooth as possible, reducing barriers that might prevent them from obtaining a quote or renewing their insurance. ​​ This relates to the availability of services out of hours, where customers can now renew their policies online and also obtain an insurance quote using their quote and buy online facility.
