If you live on or enjoy visiting the canals of the capital, this short survey is a chance to have your say on what today’s boaters want and need
How could moorings in London be improved? What sort of mooring should there be, and where? And what sections of waterway are in need of repair? These are just a few of the questions the Canal & River Trust hope to answer with its survey: ‘Who’s on London’s Boats’.
The online survey is open until Friday 21 October and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
The findings will help build proposals to benefit boaters in the capital, including the development of the London Mooring Strategy.
Matthew Symonds, CRT boating strategy and engagement manager, said: “By knowing more about the community and what’s important to them, we can make sure our plans take account of their needs. I’d like to encourage London’s boaters to get involved.”
More information about the survey can be found on the CRT website.
