The Llangollen or ‘The Welsh’ as it is sometimes known is arguably one of the most beautiful canals in Britain, particularly at this time of year. The vibrant colours and the breathtaking feats of engineering make it one of the highlights of Britain’s waterways. A quick search of Instagram reveals an abundance of wonderful photographs taken by the public that are sure to lift your spirits as this bitterly cold weather begins to set in.
