To celebrate River Canal Rescue’s 25th anniversary, managing director, Stephanie Horton, is giving away prizes throughout the year. This month, Canal Boat readers can win a place on one of RCR’s boat and engine maintenance courses worth £315.

The two-day course covers how to maintain diesel engines and the systems within a narrowboat, such as propulsion, cooling, engine servicing and fault finding, and is led by RCR’s Kerry Horton and Dave Bull.  You’ll also receive a certificate and a Narrow Boat Engine Maintenance and Repair book.

Run at RCR’s Stafford HQ, the course runs twice a month, with dates available throughout the year.

For your chance to secure your free place, simply email your name, address and phone number to CBcompetition@rivercanalrescue.co.uk and your entry will be included in a prize draw.
