RIVER SOAR
The Soar is a pretty, mostly rural river that connects the Grand Union Canal (Leicester Section) to the River Trent. Attractive river reaches alternate with artificial canal sections – and a good supply of waterside pubs - as the waterway descends from Leicester through Loughborough to Trent Lock.
