COVENTRY CANAL
The Coventry Canal provides a useful link between the Trent & Mersey, Oxford and Birmingham & Fazeley canals. It has its own attractions too, including the 11 locks at Atherstone, the wooded hillsides that accompany the northern part of the route, the historic canal settlement at Hawkesbury Junction and the restored timber warehouses surrounding Coventry’s city centre basin.
