BIRMINGHAM & FAZELY CANAL
One of the components of the Birmingham Canal Navigations, the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal starts in the centre of Birmingham and ends in quiet rural Midlands. From a junction near Brindley Place it descends via flights of locks running though the heart of the city, passes directly underneath the ‘Spaghetti Junction’ motorway intersection, then shakes off its industrial surroundings and passes through empty countryside to meet the Coventry Canal at Fazeley Junction.
