RIVER LARK

The Lark is one of the tributaries of the Great Ouse. Formerly navigable to Bury St Edmunds, the locks on the upper river are now abandoned but the river is still open to Judes Ferry. It makes an attractive diversion off the Great Ouse, especially in the upper lengths as it leaves the fenlands.
