We have been notified of the following notices of navigation suspension.
30 October – 19 December 2023: Marmont Priory Lock
This is for the purpose of renewing lock door gates (50mtrs upstream & 50mtrs downstream of Priory Lock) and remedial works.
Other parts of the Middle Level Navigations, not the subject of the closures during these periods, will remain open.
Should the above works be completed before 19th December 2023, the lock will be re-opened.
8 January – 9 February 2024: Salters Lode Lock
This is for the purpose of undertaking siltation clearance, lock structure inspection and remedial works, from Salters Lode Lock to EA bridge at Well Creek.
Other parts of the Middle Level Navigations, not the subject of the closures during these periods, will remain open.
Should the above works be completed before 9th February 2024, the lock will be re-opened.
